Day1: Addis Abeba-Lalibela

Fly to Lalibela, north of Addis Abeba. You would conduct a city tour of the magnificent rock-hewn Lalibela which is a world heritage site of UNESCO. This group of eleven monolithic and semi monolithic structure were curved out directly into the stone of the mountainside about 800 years ago.  This complex boasts of the largest monolithic churches in the world. It has passageways, tunnels and the like. Overnight, in one of the hotels in Lalibela.

Day2: Laibela

There will be two choices for the morning session: you could take a morning trek supported with a mule to mount Asheton to see the rock-hewn monastery and wonderful views of the irregular city of Lalibela. Or you can get driven to Yemrahanna Kirstos a beautiful church which is situated in a shallow cave that happens before Lalibela .the drive to this church will give you an opportunity to see the country sides and villages of Ethiopian highlands. In the afternoon, you can explore the city of Lalibela.Overnight, lalibela.

Day3: Lalibela- Addis Ababa

Fly back to Addis Ababa with Ethiopian airlines. You can take a city tour of Addis Ababa with any left over time. Finally, fly back home in the evening.
