Ethiopians follow the old 13th months of Geez calandar which is 7 ½ sometimes 8 years behind the Gregorian calendar.
Ethiopians add six hours to our clock and watches. For instance, instead of breakfast at 7:00am, we call this time 1:00am and noon becomes 6:00 and the like…however, Banks, Airlines and other internationally connected business institutes, follow western clock so as to make it convenient for visitors, but you should take it in to consideration that ask the officials which time they are using during appointments.
